Hangman in Javascript & JQuery

I have been designing and engineering applications (usually from the ground up) for many years. I'm very strong with back-end development including databases and code architecture along with some UI. My interfaces are organized, clean, and fully functional, but not flashy. I understand HTML, CSS, Javascript and can fumble though what I need to get done most of the time.

While looking over job descriptions for my next opportunity, the buzzword "Fullstack" is all the rage. Companies want to pay one person to do it all. That's great on paper, but in 15yrs I have only met 1-2 people that were rockstars at every language. Most developers are great at 2-3 languages and fumble through the rest.

I needed to strengthen my knowledge of front-end technologies so I enrolled in the Javascript bootcamp at General Assembly.

For my final project I wanted to recreate the popular Hangman game with a halloween theme. Check it out and let me know what you think. The source can be found on GitHub .

6/1/2017: The project is in beta until it's presented at the end of the bootcamp. I will be updating the code in the next 6 weeks.
