Shuttle SH67H3 Build

This new computer build was made to be used as a developer machine. I decided to use Shuttle because of the small form factor. I prefer AMD because I feel they offer more bang for the buck, but the AMD shuttle only offered DDR2. So I went with the Intel/DDR3 Shuttle.

I also wanted this machine for testing various Linux distributions. I thought a 60 GB SSD would be enough for Windows 7 and a separate partition to run CentOS for some virtual machines. After the Windows 7 Ultimate was installed, I was using about 30 GB already. I plan to use an old SATA hard drive for my Linux hacking.

Another future use for the machine was to play Street Fighter X Tekken. I wanted a graphic card to meet the recommended specs and satisfy dual DVI monitors. My Newegg.com hardware list was:

Acer S201HLbd Black 20"
5ms LED-Backlight LCD Monitor
